After that first rush of getting a story out of my head and onto the laptop, working out the rest of the details is often less thrilling. But eventually it’s all on the page, or in the file.
In the world of writing, there are few absolutes. Successful authors sit and type, or take pen to paper, or dictate into an audio recorder and then have their words transcribed. Different people, different styles, different methods.
Once of the many reasons I love the Internet is how it allows you to connect with people across time and space. I’m fortunate to have virtually met many fine authors, including Steven Pressfield.
Writing fiction is very exciting to me because it’s about telling a story and invoking emotions. At my day job, however, they are more interested in my business writing skills.
